- Emergency Contraception are pills that decrease the chance of a woman getting pregnant up to five days after unprotected intercourse. So if a condom breaks, emergency contraception is a way to decrease the chance of your partner getting pregnant.
How do you get Emergency Contraception?
- A male or female over 18 can buy Emergency Contraception from the pharmacy without a prescription from a doctor.
- Some clinics will distribute emergency contraception to males as well as females.
